Contemporary Beeswax Candle Designs Give Life To Any Space

Those who say that they do not like to decorate will be surprised to learn that a few small changes can make a drastic difference in an indoor space. The great thing about simple pieces is that many are practical meaning they serve another purpose. Rooms that are plain or have a minimal decor can be upgraded to chic when contemporary beeswax candle designs are added.

Although some may not think of candles as the ideal gift, it is something that works in many situations. One common scenario is to participate in a gift exchange at work and not know what the recipient may like. Candles are practical and when made into a number of shapes, can add a nice decorative touch.

One good thing about candles is they are not just practical but inexpensive. Even those that are priced slightly higher tends to burn a lot slower than the cheap versions that may go out in a couple of hours. These can also be placed anywhere like in a wall sconce or a flat surface.

Another advantage of giving these is that the majority of colors range from white to shades of yellow. These are easy to match in most any space decor and the designs can add a little excitement. Cube, honeycomb, or spiral is just some of the shapes that can draw the right kind of attention.

Although candles are practical as well as effective, it is always a good rule of thumb to place nice candles in a space that is always kept clean. This may be a corner in the living room, den, or indoor patio. The reason is that while it may be difficult to keep clutter at a minimum, having a designated space can save time and worry after a long day.

Although most beeswax versions come in shades of yellow, white, and brown, there are some ways to coordinate favorite colors. If a room has neutral or earth tone colors, candlestick holders in bold shades of blue, red, or purple can add a touch of vibrancy with a couple of matching accessories. Easy additions may include covers, pillows, or throws for furniture or the walls.

One of the best decorating hacks is a large area rug. Not only can it cover up old carpeting but the right shade can disguise spills and other mishaps caused by other members of a household. Those living with active kids or friends with four legs find these rugs come in handy.

Candles of any type have a number of uses, like helping to provide heat within a space. Often people complain about the price of utilities during the holidays but forget the simple ways they can cut back. Using natural sources of light instead of electricity when possible is one way to keep holiday expenses down and not pay the price in the coming year.

Before using any of these, it helps to look at the holder weight and compare it to each holding method. Renters who are inexperienced may want to consult with their landlord. If they hesitate, one good argument is that using a candle will cut back on electricity usage.
