The Allure Of Designer Perfumes

By Kevin Bailey

When going to buy designer fragrances, few people will want to buy them at shop prices. And despite you purchasing perfume on the internet or find a cheap fragrance shop, sometimes the cost are still uneconomical. What happens when one is searching for a discontinued perfume? Designer perfume stores in general charge designer perfumes costs, and some female perfumes are too costly.

So, where should you look? First of all, you can check your local department stores, since they often have sales throughout the year. If they aren't running any sales currently, move on. Otherwise you are going to end up paying the suggested retail price, and in my opinion, that's often overpriced. So, leave the cosmetics counters in your mall department stores behind and head for a perfume outlet.

You also have other celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, that are not nearly as involved in the design of their perfume. However, Paris has a very large role in how her perfume is marketed. You probably would not even be able to find her perfume at the local discount and drug stores among all of the other fragrances if it were not for her face on the package.

This is a very important consideration when choosing the right perfume. Will it last all day and still have the same high quality scent as it did when it was first applied? That is the major difference between luxury perfume and those of sub-standard quality.

Every woman has a unique body chemistry. The same perfume will not smell alike on two different people. Just because a woman's favorite luxury has a scent that smells wonderful on a friend, does not necessarily mean that the same scent will have the same pleasing affect on her. This is why it is imperative that a woman auditions a scent before making a purchase. It could be a costly mistake to discover too late that a new luxury perfume is not the right scent.

Obviously, designers will sell their perfume at their store. Other specialty and department stores will also carry these perfumes. However, purchasing from one of these stores is likely to leave a small dent in someone's wallet. When paying retail for a luxury label, people are paying for the "name" as well as the perfume itself.

Some discount fragrance shops do indeed sell knock off scents or fakes, but for the most part these sites will show pictures of their wares and you should be able to look at the pictures alone and tell these are not the original scents. Read the descriptions of the cheap brand name fragrances you are thinking of buying and always check the disclaimer if available, on the website.

However, when you in the market to buy perfume, it is advised to look for an authentic sale website. It is necessary because you might be paying several dollars for a perfume which is not even original product. Many websites put attractive layouts and sale ads for best luxury sprays in cheap prices. Many of these websites to looking much alike an authentic product selling one can be a scam. People buying these perfumes on discount prices may act in a hurry after seeing their favorite brands of perfumes on site.
