It was a history service that was hosted or conducted by then Dr. Nichols Stephen is usually a week podcast which offers a decisive, informative and informal perspective at the history of house of worship. For those who would like to join them, there is a weekly service which briefly takes people from the present and enables them to see and explore the past. 5 minute church is very helpful to some people as they do not have to walk all the way to the physical location of house of God.

The host will take the congregation back to the past and basically focus on the lives of olden people, their way of lives, the events and not forgetting the beautiful places that have contributed a lot to shaping the lives and story of Christians and also clearly explains or depicts the picture of Christianity journey.

Edward started his sermon or speech by basically greeting the congregation by referring to them as honorable gentlemen and recognized King George but above all he greeted them in the almighty name of Jesus Christ. Without wasting any time Edward went straight to the bible and read a verse which was second peter verse one chapter nineteen. The verse talks about the sure prophetic word that emphasis people to do good and be the light to others. They should be a light that can shine also in darkness until or up to day dawn when the day star appears in their hearts.

Edward gave his sermon by first unfolding the story of redemption. He briefly touched on Adam story and how his relationship was with God until Adam committed sin and was cut off from the garden of Aden. This sin separated man from God since God disliked sin. He then quickly touched on second coming of Jesus Christ and also touched on redemption promise.

Then there was a sermon of the treaty which was by Jonathan Edward where he gave a sermon on a special occasion during the time which there was a signing of treaty between Indians and Massachusetts. The occasion had governors and members of congress, ministers, chiefs and several Indians. Many guests gave their speech including the governor but the highlight of that occasion was when Edward gave a sermon.

Jonathan stood up and greeted the guest and proceeded to say treat, peace and calm in the name of King George but him is in the name of Jesus Christ. Immediately after salutations he proceeds to his texts where he reads second peter verse one chapter nineteen. The bible says or assures the Christians that they have a prophetic word which they should try to heed as that light that shines in the darkness until the day breaks and morning stars rises in their hearts.

The other occasion was conversion of Robinson Crusoe who in 1651 sailed from Hull and on his way the ship was wrecked and all his crew members perished. Robinson was the only survivor and he was washed to a certain island where he stayed on it for twenty eight years alone.

In these 5 minutes of history of churches, Dr. Stephen recalls or talks about the time missionary Jonathan Edward during a peace treaty signing preached about the gospel of Jesus Christ to Mohawk tribesmen.
